LOCATION:	Raceway Professional Office Building, 202 N. Allen Drive, Allen, TX.  DIRECTIONS:  Take Exit #34 (McDermott Exit) off U. S. 75 (N. Central Expressway) and drive east to the 2nd traffic light, which will be Allen Drive.  Turn left (north) and drive 3 blocks to Boyd Street.  The Raceway Office Building will be on your right.  Park on the north side of the building and enter the doors near the sign that says "Executive Suites".  Come to the Conference Room, which is the second door on the right.

For fifteen years, we have had the privilege of teaching thousands of people about homeschooling. This has been accomplished when parents who were interested in homeschooling attended one of the Homeschooling Orientation Seminars we conduct at various locations and times throughout the year. Our Orientation is designed to inform you of the many aspects of the homeschooling experience which are so important as you strive to be as successful as possible in educating your children at home.

For example, we teach you the laws regarding homeschooling; we answer the 6 most asked questions that new homeschooling parents need answered (plus any others you may have); we tell you the two things we believe you should do very quickly after you decide to homeschool; we define for you what homeschooling is, and what it isn't; we show you how to get started and stay on track; and, we share with you about lesson planning and record-keeping, plus much, much, more.

We also share our philosophy about how to design curriculum for home schooled students and why we believe it is so important to know what level of achievement your student has attained in order to "custom design" his or her curriculum. In other words, we believe it is far better to "tailor" a curriculum around the academic needs of your student rather than trying to make your student "fit" a particular curriculum.

Our Parent Orientation seminars are 4 hours in length and each registered couple or individual will receive a comprehensive 55 page copyrighted syllabus covering all aspects of the Orientation. The charge $30 for 2 adults in the same family (typically Mom and Dad). If you, or someone you know, would like to attend one of our Parent Orientations, please contact us as soon as possible as reservations are required. This will also help us to adequately estimate the proper quantities of homeschooling resources that we will need to have available, resources that we subsequently give to you!
